Brown and Brazen was born out of the hospitality rooted in Caribbean cultures that connect communities for generations.
Caribbean communities have been creating third spaces long before it was trendy. From uncles slamming dominoes to aunties checking if you ate for the third time, the backyard was an extension of culture, community and home.
Brown and Brazen exist to recreate this feeling.

Anjali Seegobin
Welcome! Anjali Seegobin is a community organizer based in South Queens, New York. From a young age, she grew passionate towards uplifting communities of color that were disproportionally affected by larger systems. Since her work began as an organizer, she has hosted multiple community events throughout the years focusing on intentionally, placemaking and advocacy. She is currently a graduate student at Columbia University pursing a Master in Public Administration.
